It is another hot and sunny day that the Lord has blessed us with on the third day of Kids Camp. We began the day with breakfast, followed by a church service. We heard a message about salvation and how it is the greatest gift that has ever been given to us. We were once separated from God by our sin. But he sent his only Son Jesus to die for our sins and provide a path of salvation through faith in Him. It was great to see how engaged the kids were when asked questions about Jesus during the service.
We continued our regular daily activities (water sports, soccer, climbing, and crafts). There are many much needed breaks from the sun throughout the day where we cool off in the sea or eat watermelon in the shade. We end the day singing songs, playing games, building relationships, and of course a snack. With all this going on, you have to take a moment to step back and look out over the beautiful landscape that God has created in this country.
The Lord has blessed our team with different individual strengths and talents coming together in harmony to serve the Lord and the kids at this camp. While the heat may be intense, and the work hard at times, we are giving it our all, lifting each other up, and praying for one another. Our team continues to support the camp as cabin leaders, life guards, media team, service team, and activity leaders, all for the glory God.
Please pray for continued strength for our team, patience with the kids and that they would hear God speak to them at this camp.
Thank you for your prayers and support.
In Christ,
Nick
Nick, how sweet it is that the campers are fully engaged when asked questions about Jesus!
