In the Balkan region of Europe, the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. The Orchard has had an in-depth partnership in Hungary, as well as with many missionaries in the Balkan region over many years. Our partners are defining the greatest needs and opportunities and we are responding to their invitation to be their fellow workers in the harvest.

Teaching English in various settings has been a fruitful method to make connections for the spread of the gospel in this area.  Since 2010, The Orchard has sent teams of high school students and leaders to run English camps for Hungarian students where God has moved in powerful ways. Not only are the Hungarian students instructed and transformed by the preaching of the Word, but our own student teams come back with a new depth of faith and desire to more intentionally live for Christ at home.

God has opened doors through prayer and faith for The Orchard to join with and send more workers to more countries in the Balkan region, most recently to Durres, Albania.  We look forward to all that the Lord has in store for us.  Pray for all those who labor in the gospel for boldness, perseverance, faithfulness.
