Hello from Durres!

The team spent Friday morning touring the Albanian College of Durres, which is a beautiful international school for Kindergarten through 12th grade.  All subjects are taught in English, the class sizes are kept small for greater instruction, and the school philosophy of teaching is to foster critical thinking as a way to approach learning.  We spent time right outside the school praying for the people who work there and the students.

In the afternoon, Arvid took us on a tour of the community, telling us it’s history and explaining how that impacts their vision for ministry to the people today.  We saw God’s passion and love for the lost in Arvid’s words.  We prayed for Arvid, his ministry, and his family.  We also prayed for workers to come join his team.

The final leg of the day, we met Arvid’s wonderful wife and two boys. We also met with and were encouraged to pray for friends of their family who do not yet embrace Christ.

We prayed in many other places today, and with much confidence in Christ’s ability to make his will known and to further his kingdom.
