Developing Church Planters in Albania

The Orchard has partnered with Radstock Ministries in the Balkan Region to invest resources where evangelism and leadership development leads to the planting of churches and the effective sharing of the Gospel.  God has opened doors through prayer to have Dave Berry attend a Europe Exponential Conference in Albania this week. His goal is to facilitate the process of helping connect pastor-coaches with Albanian church planters as they envision doubling the current 100 churches in the Balkan Region in the next five years.

Here is a report from Dave regarding the progress so far. Please pray for him as he continues to encourage young pastors this week:

Berry Altin Kejdis

Tuesday, Brian Jose and Joe Bubar (both with Radstock), Kejdis Bakalli (Global Church Movements-center of picture in grey vest) and I met with seven experienced pastors/church planters from Albania. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the approach to expand the number of coached new pastors serving and planting churches in Albania. The goal is 400 churches by 2020. By the end of the meeting, the men had committed to coach 10 more pastors and meet regularly to discuss their progress and needed support, as well as the need for more coaches, especially women coaches for new female leaders in the church. The coaching approach will follow the model put forward in Robert Logan’s book “Coaching 101.”

Going forward, I will connect remotely with Joe Bubar and Pellumb Collaku (Albanian on the ground) to work with the coaches. Please pray with us as we seek guidance for who will be the next to be coached, that God will bless the coaching relationships with fruit of the Spirit, and as a result His church in Albania will see rapid growth.
