Bob and Nancy Warren Serve in Hungary

It is hard to believe that just a few months ago we visited with many of you at a farewell time given for us at The Orchard. Many asked, “What will you do now?” Our answer was simple, “We plan to take some time to pray and find out.” In our minds that time period would be at least six months. SURPRISE!!!!! God is not finished with us!

During December, Brad Mullet, Director of Mission at The Orchard, shared with us an urgent need in Tapolca, Hungary. The missionaries there needed a couple on short notice who could continue their ministry without interruption while they were on home assignment to Canada. Much of this ministry involves leading Bible studies and teaching English classes. Since Bob loves diving into God’s Word and Nancy has thoroughly enjoyed working in English Cafe, this seemed to be a match! The Lord confirmed this for us, and now we are beginning a new adventure in Tapolca, Hungary from February 20 through May 20. (This is the same town where part of the high school team from The Orchard will conduct an English camp this summer.)

Please join with us in prayer because it is obvious to us that we cannot do this on our own. This is soooooo far out of our comfort zone! But we know God is faithful!

  1. So fun to see how all things truly do work for good for those who are called according to His purpose! May your marriage and your spiritual walks be thoroughly blessed through this, and may God allow the Gospel to run through Tapolca! We are praying for you! Can’t wait to hear all that God does in your lives and in the lives of those around you.

  2. Blessings and peace to Bob and Nancy on this new and unexpected adventure! We are thinking of and praying for you!

  3. We will be praying for both of you, and will look forward to hearing about what the Lord is doing in the lives of those you will minister to, and how He is making His presence known to you. Bless you both!

  4. Bob and Nancy, we are praying for you and trusting that God is going to use you in Hungary just as He has used you in our lives and the lives of many others on the other side of the ocean.
