The first week (kids camp) is now over. Avi and I were promoted to cabin leaders and cared for 5 kids: Jeremiah, Matthew, Darrin, Ronnie, and Braden. All I have to say about that is: mom, dad – thank you! But in all seriousness, it was an unforgettable experience. I truly believe that God was able to touch these kid’s lives through the entire staff’s involvement.
It is abundantly clear to me that God has his hand over this camp. It is a safe house for born again Christians. Early on, I prayed for opportunities to have genuine talks with the people I’d meet. Since then I’ve become good friends with unique young adults from the UK, Australia, Greece, Romania, and Canada, and had deep conversations about their lives and faith. Everyone is a real individual yet they share the common purpose of serving the Lord. I’m losing track of the amount of prayers that have been answered on this trip.

Sam, that is so amazing! I think your ministry, having been committed to God in prayer and upheld by faith will really impact impact those lives. I love that you mentioned their names! I recently got a list of 48 kids names to pray for children who were in our Durres, Albania week of camp! Be specific with God and he will return the favor!
