11/3 – Update from Brad Mullet

It was a wonderful Lord’s day to be in Hungary.  Early this morning (4:30 a.m.) Georgette and Cindi caught a taxi to the airport.  Tom and Kari O., Brad M., Betsy, and Steve piled into the Ford Transit (9 passenger van) with Niki Horvath and drove south to pick up Laura Decker, then west to pick up an elder (Tibi) from KEGy and his daughter Noemi and drove an hour and a half southwest of Budapest to a member church of the Hungarian Evangelical Association in Veszprem.  Tom Olson, interpreted by pastor Adam, preached the Word of the Lord from Mark 10:42-45 much to the encouragement of the believers.  The church asked us to thank the believers at The Orchard for sending the team to serve them.  We dashed out of there to the pastor’s house to share a meal with him and his family and then drove back to Budapest to be in time for the services at KEGy.

Before we returned from Veszprem, we had part of our team go east by car: Dave and Barb M. and Mark G.  were already on their way to Zsambok with Zoli.  Dave shared the Word and testimony, Mark shared his testimony, and Barb shared her testimony.  They were greeted with kisses on either side of the face and treated to a gastronomical smorgasbord following the service.

While they were out in Zsambok, the rest of us attended KEGy.  Brad M preached at KEGy and there were many expressions of gratitude to the Lord for the team from The Orchard.
