Balkan Spring Team Leaves Friday

2018 team pic cropped

From March 9-16, 2018, a team from The Orchard is headed to the Balkans to encourage partner church planters in the gospel, to serve alongside other laborers in his harvest, and to pray. Lord willing, we will start in Durrës, Albania to attend worship services with our missionaries (including Kujtim and Lauren Rushiti) at two church plants. On Monday, we’ll travel south to Igoumenitsa in northern Greece where a massive Bible distribution effort will be undertaken this summer. We will pray on-site for laborers and for God’s Word to take root in this area of the Balkans. We’ll then travel to Macedonia where we will meet with our partner church planters in the cities of Tetovo and Gostivar before we return to Albania.

Would you pray with us?

Pray for us as we prepare to spend the week in the Balkans.
Pray for good health and energy before and during our trip.
Pray for safe travel to and from Albania and through Greece and Macedonia.
Pray for wisdom and discernment as we visit and pray.
Pray that we enourage and spur on the church planters we meet with.

Thank you for your prayers and support!

One response to “Balkan Spring Team Leaves Friday

  1. May your hearts imitate the vision and passion of Paul: “For I would not dare say anything except what Christ has accomplished THROUGH me by word and deed for the obedience of the Gentiles, by the power of miraculous signs and wonders, and by the power of God’s Spirit. As a result, I have fully proclaimed the gospel of Christ from Jerusalem all the way around to ILLYRICUM. My aim is to preach the gospel where Christ has not been named, so that I will not build on someone else’s foundation,” Romans 15:18-20
    Foundations laid!
    Thanks for going.
