Worship and Getting Set for Camp – Kari

What a wonderful two days we have had so far. After a long day of travel, we arrived at our apartment in Budapest just before midnight Saturday night. We took showers and went right to bed. Sunday morning was Danube International Church for some, and Calvary Chapel for others. We met up for lunch, did some sightseeing and attended KEGy for their afternoon service. Dillon did a great job preaching on how to live a joy filled life. The picture of the small shoes and the flag with the middle cut out are both memorials to difficult days in Hungarian history. You can google those if you are interested in knowing more.

Today we loaded up and headed to Hegyesd where we are staying and holding camp. Both Tápolca and Hegyesd are beautiful quaint little towns. This evening we met up with the Benjamins and Koehnkes. Wonderful to give them hugs and hear about all they have been doing. Tomorrow we will be prayer-walking the village of Hegyesd, praying for the campers and preparing for camp on Wednesday.

Thank you for reading through our blog and for your prayers. We appreciate you!

  1. So nice to read your update!! I remember the ‘shoes’ Memorial. May the Lord open eyes and hearts to see Him more clearly!! Praying for you!

  2. Praise God for answered prayer! Glad to hear the Lord spoke clearly through Dillon and that there was a time of refreshment with the Benjamins and Koehnkes. Trust your prayer walks will bear much fruit!
