Today The Orchard Albania team had the privilege of worshipping with the believers at the church in Sukth, Albania where Arvid is the pastor.  (Arvid recently visited The Orchard for Missions Weekend.) Sukth is a village of about 3500 people located 30 minutes from Durres, a city of 200,000, where we are staying and where we are praying that the next gospel preaching church will be planted. About 30 of us gathered to sing hymns and hear a message given by Kujtim Rushiti and a powerful testimony from Denise Koehnke.  After the church service we all shared a sandwich lunch in the church yard and got to know one another. How wonderful it is to be united as one church family and share the love our Father and each other.

This church building was damaged by some flooding recently so our team will be helping to clean, repair and paint it this week. Please pray that relationships would be forged and that our team would be a source of encouragement to the believers of this young church with many new believers. Pray too, along with us, for the Holy Spirit to blow through Durres, that many would come to faith in Christ so that God would be glorified.
